Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway: Convenient to Cedar Oaks
There is perhaps no better way to relax and see North Carolina at its peak foliage than with a walk on the Atlantic and Yadkin Greenway, part of the Mountains-to-the-Sea Trail. This trail is an extraordinary amenity for all Triad residents to embrace and enjoy the great out-of-doors all year, but it’s especially nice in the fall when the air is crisp and the leaves are colorful.
This paved rail trail in Northwest Greensboro runs across Lake Brandt, through Bur Mil Park, Greensboro Country Park, and into the heart of Greensboro. It is comprised of Lake Brandt Trail, the Bicentennial Greenway, and Battleground Rail Trail.
The nearby D.R. Horton community of Cedar Oaks, located just north of downtown Greensboro off North Church Street, is beautifully nestled in the peaceful countryside, yet is just minutes from favorite shopping and dining. The community is served by desirable Northern Guilford schools and has easy access to area businesses. And for homeowners who live Cedar Oaks, the Atlantic and Yadkin Greenway is a jewel to enjoy every day of the year.
