Greensboro Aquatic Center: Convenient to Elim at Horse Creek
Known to locals as the GAC, the Greensboro Aquatic Center is located on the Greensboro Coliseum campus, making it easily accessible. It may be cooling down outside, put it's always pool time at the GAC. General Manager, David Hoover, shares available programs for the community.
Hoover said, "We do offer a wide variety of programs and swim lessons from private to group, to adaptive swim lessons. We also offer a wide variety of fitness classes. We're very happy to pair with Guilford County schools to teach second graders the lifesaving skills of swimming. We pair with those local schools and bus in students. So far we have taught second graders from over 40 Guilford County schools how to swim."
