Greensboro’s long tradition of celebrating the Fourth of July returns in 2021 on July 3. A day full of family fun is planned for visitors and locals who are ready to celebrate after a year without festivals.
There will be live music, entertainment, food, and plenty of people watching as the city gathers to celebrate our nation’s independence. With three music stages set up everyone is guaranteed to find something they are “tuned” into. The lineup includes: February One Stage: Hip-hop, gospel, line dancing, rock and jazz; Hamburger Square Stage: Latino, kid’s rock, Go-Go, Indie Pop, and more; and Lewis Street Stage: DJ and Karoke.
The day of fun starts at 7:30 a.m. for the Freedom Run. Freedom Fest events start at 3 p.m. and winds up at 9 p.m. The grand finale is the 3-D laser show. It will start at 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Davie and Market Streets.
