4th of July Events in the Triad

What American doesn’t love the fourth of July? Hotdogs and burgers, fireworks, and Summer in the air, there’s not much more we could ask for. Family and friends are making plans to get together this 4th, and you might be wondering what you and yours can do to make some star-spangled memories. If you’re living in the Triad area, you definitely want to check out these awesome events happening near you this Independence Day!

Fireworks

Uncle Sam Jam 2019

Located at Oak Hollow Festival Park in High Point, this event features live music by Envision and The Brothas Band. You can also expect lots of great food and of course, there will be fireworks. Kernersville Fireworks Show

If you’re looking for a great firework display to finish off your Independence Day, you might want to head over to Kernersville for a free firework show and concert on the 4th from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Get there at 6 to beat get a good seat! You can learn more about this event by clicking the link below!

Freedom Run

This event is for those of you that want to start their Independence Day with a bang! Race on over to Center City Park bright and early because registration begins 6am on Thursday. There are 3 different races to participate in throughout the early morning. The 10K race will begin at 7:30am, 5K at 7:45am and the 1-mile race will be at 7:50am. This event is perfect for runners of any skill level, so set your alarm and lace your running shoes for this July 4th event. There are registration fees for each race. Fourth of July Fun with the Dash

Baseball is considered an all-American sport, and what better way to spend July 4th than enjoying some good-old American entertainment. Head on over to BB&T Stadium to catch a Winston-Salem DASH game followed by an extended firework show. Ticket prices range from lawn seating at $8.43 to $14.05 for some of the best seats.
