Proehlific Park: Convenient to Angels Landing
Proehlific Park in Greensboro is truly a one of a kind sports facility that was the brainchild of NFL star, Ricky Proehl and his wife Kelly. Assistant Director, Chris Chapman, discusses the indoor turf area and what great opportunities come along with it.
Chapman says, "It's one of a kind. It's 70 yards long by 45 yards wide. It houses several different things and is truly a multi-use facility. Our flag football programs plays here, speed and agility training, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer… you name it." Chapman continues, "People walk laps around the turf. Nine laps is a mile. The area also serves as a multi-use space for events such as the annual 'Bluejeans and Bourbon' fundraiser for the Ricky Proel P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation."
