Overview:

In 1953 Lewis Hubbard launched Hubbard Realty and began an enterprise that would develop 100’s of Winston-Salem neighborhoods, 1,000’s of residential building lots, and foster growth of the new home building industry in Winston-Salem that continues to this day. Hubbard Commercial continues to be one of the area’s largest holders of new home lot inventory.

All lots can be either purchased or reserved (depending upon the community classification) by an individual desiring to build a custom home. Hubbard also has acreage parcels for sale. Contact Hubbard Commercial for more information about the inventory of lots and land 336-723-0303.

Community Classifications:

Type LC - Lot Community:

A “Lot Community” is a community where all the lots may be purchased by anyone, individual buyers and/or builders. The individual buyers of lots may choose any builder they desire to use and may build on their lot at any time they choose or even sell the lot, unless it is otherwise stated in the recorded covenants or contract for the purchase of the lot. The developer designates the type of community. The developer reserves the right to re-classify a community at any time without notice. (A real estate commission is paid by the lot seller on the sale price of the lot only.)

Type BC - Builder Community:

A “Builder Community” is a community where only builders may purchase lots for spec and/or custom home construction. Lots in a Builder Community may be reserved by individuals for the construction of their house plan by the community builder or team of builders. Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors is the marketing agent for all spec and custom built homes in Builder Communities. The developer designates the type of community. The developer reserves the right to re-classify a community at any time without notice. (A real estate commission is paid by the builder on the sale price of the home, which includes the lot value.)
